COVID Protocols

Capacity Management

The capacity of the festival will be limited to a maximum of 200 people.  180 tickets will be made available to the public.  The remaining attendees will be artists, technical staff and festival staff.

Contact Tracing

Tickets can only be purchased in advance via our online ticketing platform.  The names of all tickets holders and their contact details will be maintained until 30 days after the event.

COVID Screening

All ticket holders will be sent a COVID screening questionnaire one week before the event.

Mask Wearing

Masks/face covering will be required when circulating around the outdoor area.

Physical distancing protocol

  • Dedicated festival staff will continuously monitor and manage physical distancing rather than simply relying on signage.
  • Attendees will be provided with wrist bands to facilitate quick access to the festival site and reduce queuing.
  • Physical distancing of at least 1 metre will be maintained between pods of people.


Poratloos will be provide on-site to reduce the use of indoor toilet facilities.

Outdoor Area

The outdoor area will include a marquee that will not be wholly enclosed or substantially enclosed which in practice means it will not have sides (including windows, doors, gates or other fittings that can be opened or shut) that enclose more than 50% of the perimeter of that area.

Cleaning & Disinfection Protocol

The frequency of cleaning and disinfecting of the following key areas will be at a minimum twice daily and as required:

  • Entry/exit
  • Greeting podiums
  • Service stations
  • Countertops
  • Handrails
  • Smoking areas
  • Exterior seating/benches
  • Exterior of refuse bins
  • Toilets,

The following items will be cleaned and disinfected regularly during the day:

  • Tables and seating
  • Trays
  • Any other reusable items that attendees come into contact with
