Hank Wedel

Hank Wedel, singer-Songwriter and Band Leader, was born in The USA in the 1960’s, grew up in NYC and Mallow, Co. Cork in the 1970’s, lived for awhile in NYC in the 1980’s and 1990’s but is based in Cork City.

He is well known for his involvement in the live music scene in that city, and, in the past, with bands such as “Princes Street” .”Open Kitchen” and “Small Town Talk” as well as a long-standing Monday night residency at Charlies Bar, Cork City with mandolin man, Ray Barron. He has recorded and released songs and music with all of the above.

In 2016, Hank released a solo album entitled “Living In The Land Of Love” and is currently working on a Christmas song with Ray Barron and other musicians associated  with Charlies Bar in Cork City for release towards the end of 2019.

Hank has also performed with Irish music legends Kila, Declan Sinnott, Shane McGowan, Christy Moore, Philomena Begley and Bono.
